Forums - Microsoft - Microsoft's Aaron Greenberg said that there won't be a Xbox 360 Slim model

Microsoft's director of product management Aaron Greenberg said that there won't be a Xbox 360 Slim model, "We feel great about our console," he said. "We have taken a different philosophy, adding more value to our existing console through updates and reinventing the system software. We feel like our system has done very well for us in the current form. We have no plans for a slim."

they dont need a slim, they are already at a mass market price, i do expect hardware revisions when the xbox 360 camera launches.

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

Good.

Yup, because they would announce a slim a year early... I would expect some redesign with Natal

Lol, way to try and downplay Natal.  Stealth trolling for the win!

Even in it's current state, it is only slightly bigger than the PS3 Slim.  The only thing that boggles my mind is how MS uses such a large power supply brick when it only outputs like 150W (compared to Sony's small 250W laptop power supply looking thing).

They really don't need a slim version.

The 360 is already slim,It shows 2 of the 3 companys were thinking of the Future.

lol, if there was a 360 slim model the power brick would be bigger than the console.

There's no need for a 360 Slim, it's not the "norm" to do with gaming consoles, even though we've seen it done in the past, and it's PlayStation's "thing"...there's no need for others to follow suit, and it's not the trend for gaming. No one complained that there wasn't a Slim version to Gamecube, Original Xbox, N64, Dreamcast, etc...

I guess a slim 360 may have an even higher failure rate.
