The right thing to say would have been "in all Konami games," but even that's not true. There have been many variations of the code in the recent years though.

I KNOW that it's not in all Konami games. That's why I didn't SAY all Konami games. 
Is there a cheat in Contra 4 then similar to the Konami Code? I need to use that first then formulate my strategy.

Actually, the code is in the game, but the effect is different (it doesn't give you 30 lifes). It only makes your weapons have their max upgrade, and it can only be used once or else you will die (literally).

^^^ Actually the "Konami" code IS in Contra 4... it doesn't give you 30 extra lives though, it does something else... you should try it it out for yourself

Yes. Just memorize the enemy spawn points and dodge bullets? nordlead said pretty much everything you need to know about the Contra series anyways (just don't run and shoot all the time, cause like I said, it makes you look noob! haha).
And I made a mistake, you can only use the code once per level, but you won't have to. The game's easy!

That's what they all say the first time they play the game... After a while, you won't even notice the difficulty.
