Was out with my dad buying a new HDTV at Best Buy today, and saw that there were a bunch of slims on display at the front of the store. A couple of people picked up slims and one picked up a PS3 phat while i was there. Don't know if this is news, but I wasn't expecting them to hit stores til next week. That is all.

Has no one else seen PS3 Slims in stores?

Mine is supposed to arrive at the house tomorrow. I pre-ordered from Amazon.

I had thoughts of going out and trying to find one yesterday and then cancelling my pre-order before it shipped, but when I called around my area, nobody had any. One Gamestop employee said, "We'll either have them tomorrow or September 1st. Sony hasn't told us much about them." Either way, I checked my e mail last night and found out that my order had already shipped from Amazon anyway, so it was a moot point.

there out everywhere in the US apparently. There was actually a concrete street date, just hirai said they should be in stores by the 1st week of september
