I had to remake the background without the guy there and then place the perfectly posed spartan over the table :)

Removing the guy and making a fake background also helps if you plan on making another mock up in the future when bored lol. I'll post it here incase someone else wants to do a Photoshop.

My opinion: This whole topic is a joke. Nobody would care if a white mans face got replaced with a black man's face. My step-dad is black/british and he doesn't give a crap, neither would his brothers. Unfortunately there are a few idiots out there that purposely look for racism in the simplest things.

I really hate when people try to make a big deal and blame Microsoft the company for these things. It was probably done by a single employee or something.

And Carl, silly little comments like "Homophobic, racist, what's next? Either way it is pathetic" is pathetic. Microsoft is not homophobic, racist, or anything. The media sure loves to have a field day and anyone who would believe such things is ridiculous. The homophobic issue was just after a violation of their ToS and now this was probably just a polish employee's bad judgment. Not mean old MS.

I know lol. What I'm saying is no white person would care if a white guys face was replaced with a black guys face unless of course they're a complete bigot. Then I said my black step-dad and his brothers couldn't give a damn about someone photoshopping a white mans face onto a black guy.

It's a silly thing to call racist. I see where Microsoft are coming from. They are aiming for the Polish Ethnic group and there are very little black people in Poland.

 Really they should of re shot the photo but due to time constraints and budget some Photoshop noob did a quick 5 minute job. Microsoft might not have even ordered the Photoshop but some people like to cut corners when under pressure.

you are right on the mark. black (and hispanics)  people are so preoccupied with racism and their views are so narrow that whenever they are treated bad, they think it is because of their color. what they have to do is not publically complain at the public which will not change anything, but unite the black people and educate themselves and change the view point of their race. back in the 1950s, jews were treated worse than any other race in the united states. but look at them now.
