Ghostbusters PS3 resolution fixed

Patched to match 360, along with other SP and MP fixes.

Here's the official word:

"Both single and multiplayer modes have been updated. In single player mode, fixes include an increase in resolution to match that of Xbox360 and some freeze issues, along with numerous other localization fixes.

"Several audio/subtitle mismatches have been patched up as well. The multiplayer patches fix certain maps when both SCEA and SCEE players attempt to play with each other, and the Pay Day Trophy and Capture All Most Wanted Ghosts Trophy now unlock properly."

I have ghostbusters. but this issue never bothered me.

I wonder if the patch will fix the graphics enough so that it is instantaneously visible with out having to look for it.

Why would you need conformation?  Just plug in the copy you should all have and see for yourselves. 

Now the development of this title seems ever more puzzling. PS3 was supposed lead, it had issues at launch vs other versions, and now the developer apparently shows they are able to produce better results on PS3 after all?

Oh, well, at least the honorable thing was done.

Only downside is now I've 'gotta put some money in twesterm's pockets... I have no excuses left to give my kids for not buying!

to be honest with you even with the lower resolution, the ps3 game i had was brilliant, i only traded because i wanted sacred 2

@Reasonable: Just say that it will break the PS3 for a fourth time if you buy it. Say the game is cursed!

Good idea. I'm also thinking of buying the Blu-Ray for Ghostbusters, popping it in before the kids realize its the film and not the game, then watching their reaction...

Why wasn't it this way at launch?
