should pass this milestone mark within the next 2 days or so. cant wait. looks like the critics were wrong and the public was right about wether this movie was good. i know alot of ppl on this site didnt like the movie and that is fine and all. but even the ppl who didnt like it or even hated it, have to at least say that passing the $400 million mark in the states is a impressive thing to accomplish. :)
i really liked the movie and cant wait for it to be released on dvd/blu-ray and of course the eventual transformers 3 movie. :)

Count me with this critics on this one - the movie is crap.
Actually, I've decided Transformers 2 isn't actually a movie - it is a series of unconnected, unjustified sequences developed because they will entertain in a midless way. It consists either of silly humour, anything to show of Megan Fox's body, explosions, action, more explosions, some more fights, some last explosions and then the limpest ending showdown ever - beware The Fallen, oh you've beating him already! Argh Megatron is back! Oh, he's not even worth a full fight this time.
When something has this little coherence, narrative continutiy and betrays the logic of its own internal Universe, then it's no longer a true movie. Watching transformers reminded me of watching TV in THX 1138 - remove everything but the core action, sex, etc.
Everyone's entitled tyo their views of course, its just a shame that joe blow public would appear to have voted for mindless entertainment over anything with any small scrap of artistic worth at all.
I was actually surprised by Transformers that it actually seemed to have some effort behind it, some real humour and a basic narrative structure. Must have been a fluke, because Transformers 2 is actually what I was expecting first time around.
