LoL Demon souls gets hype???? there are barely any threads about this game and yet for some reason the OP see this game as being over hype? sounds to me just some xbox fanboy trying to find some reason to rub it to ppl's faces even tho no1 claim such things about this game and LOL @ the examples he gave!!! FULL OF FAIL!

Wasn't even aware of this game; that's how big the hype's been.

Checked it out and I have to say it looks really impressive. Somewhere on the order of Oblivion but the world and art direction look much more organic. All merits of Oblivion aside, the game does feel more than just a bit wooden, particularly the characters.

I should order a copy, but it really looks like a huge time slayer and I just won't have the time this fall to get into a game of that size.

Oh yeah...it was the wii and the x360 fans that voted for it then.

Just like the modern warfare 2 bearly edged out uncharted 2 as the "big game of the holiday season" back in july. That must of been the x360 and wii fans too.

Or how the x360 and wii fans voted that LBP (2.3 milion) would sell more then in its lifetime then wii music (2.6 million) or gears of war 2 (5.1 million)

Bullshit, I challenge you to find one veteran poster on this site that have posted anything resembling even a rumour that Demon Soul would be a 'game changer'.

The game was praise because was it fairly unique and hardcore. It is also VERY VERY niche, so niche infact that the original publisher (sony) couldn't be bother to bring it out in the west.

I never seen anybody talk about the game like its a God Sent.

Ah, a thread where Microsoft fans accuse PS3 fans of being idiots for hyping up great looking games and pretending that their kind are somehow superior and more civilized. Even though they do the exact same thing. Haven't seen one of these in a few days. OT: Demons Souls looks awesome.

I wish I could find evidence to show that I was the first person on this forum to hype Demon's Souls, but that particular thread seems lost to the sands of time.

Demon Souls is GOTY!!! It is that good that the 360 and its fans can't handle the PoWaH !!! It is a Game Changer!!! Not made for the lil Boyz of the 360 :P J/k

In all seriousness It is by far a brilliant game that I would rate high up there with ICO and SoTC.
