We're having a LAN when this comes out and one of my friends is taking a week off just to play Diablo III!

Dude..we're talking about Diablo 2.  A LOT of people still play this game online.  I'm one of them, and 3 of my friends play with me and theres a ton of people online when we play.

Diablo 2 won't stop being played until Blizzard stops running servers for it.

Just got online, 40k people playing LoD in the middle of the day at this instance. I'd say it's still played a whole lot.....

Starcraft is Blizzard's top priority (what the hell's wrong with them?) and since that game got pushed back to 2010, we probably won't see Diablo 3 untill late 2010 or 2011.
