Nah not a chance, considering the fact over 700.000 people in Japan only have reserved Mario Galaxy. Gamers not retailers ;)

No chance. Banjo-Kazooie might had a chance if it came out the same day and scored better because Nintendo fans know that game, but I don't see any chance at all for Ratchet and Clank.
I think Ratchet and clank will be buried in Mario-hype
No, but R&C will get just as good (or even better) reviews. On average, that series has scored very highly indeed!
The only thing close to stealing a fraction of SMG's thunder was SSB:Brawl and that's conveniently delayed 'till next February.
The result? Super Mario Galaxy will crush all in its path like an giant evil freight train of doom powered by Yoshi eggs.
