I'm assuming this doesn't apply to the US?
Killzone 2 does seem a bit early especially considering it is still selling ok. It's probably a good move though, cut the price before MW2 appears as more people will be inclined to pick it up when they get a slim instead of holding out for MW2.

Of course not. We don't have Platinum Hits on PS3. We have Greatest Hits.

I always have to buy the non-platinum version of games since i think the cases for the platinum ones are terrible! Take lessons from SCEA, SCEE!! |
I'm suprised by the number of people make these comments. Like the comments of people mad because Sony is changing the format of the PS3 game packaging.
I bet you really would freak out in my family room. We have ps2 and ps3 games where they are in original, greatest hits, and the generic used game boxes from GS.
I buy them as cheap as possible, so the box format doesn't bother me..
Although, if it wasn't for my son always moving them around, they would always be grouped together by the different designs. So I guess it does bother me a bit. :P
On topic: I think it's a good move to make KZ2 a Plat. The lower slim prices should have a lot of new PS3 people looking for a game, and why not a nice game like KZ2?
Urgh, there better still be standard copies of R2 left when I go to buy it.

No problem. I wasn't trying to be condescending. I'll add one these guys next time. ---->
