The fail-rate of all 360's put together probably are around 54%  But the fail rate of the new 360 models are way way lowere.  Probably around 10%

And then there's that little thing called 3 year warrenty and such.  So should you worry about it? the answer to that is no.

yeh but if my xbox breaks during Modern Warfare 2 im going to have a seizure

Why would MS deny that number? They didn't conduct the poll. They can't confirm or deny the numbers. I'm curious to know the official number from MS though.

have you watched BBC's show about 360's failures?

M$ has denied it in the past...and how exactly did that help?

Holy shit I just got what you meant!  This just proves that the 360 fail rate is very very low for current models since barely 5 million consoles are out of warrenty out of all the 360's sold.  And I'd be willing to bet a whole bunch of the first year 360's aren't even around anymore (aka destroyed)

Going by your statement above ("you do know most of people get RROD after the warrenty rans out?") there are only 5 million 360's that are out of warranty. Thus, the RROD has only affected in the neighbourhood of 5 million people, using your statement.
