Gran Turismo 5’s Q4 2009 Release Date Confirmed

August 23rd, 2009 by Jordan

For those of you out there who still aren’t convinced of Gran Turismo 5’s pending 2009 release date, take a look at the game’s official brochure handed out at last week’s GamesCom convention.  Snapped by RiseOfGames, the brochure was quickly translated by forum users – but you don’t have to be fluent in German to figure out what “4. Quartel 2009″ means.

Sorry Okey, but I'm going to remain sceptical until it gets a nailed down date. Thank you for bringing this to everyone's attention though.

1UP strongly hinted it would be arriving this year, GTPlanet admins have outright said it, Yamauchi himself says the game is finished and will be arriving shortly after GTPSP.

At this point I'd say it's pretty concrete. But it's never too late for a delay...

www.play.com changed they release that from the 25th of september to the 4th of december a couple of days ago.

So now the PS3's holiday line up is Uncharted 2, Ratchet and Clank, Demon Souls, Eyepet and Gran Turismo 5.

Something for everbody. An action adventure, platformer, RPG, casual and a racing game.

First, it says "4. Quartal 2009", not "Quartel".

Second and that's more important, it says "Geplante Veröffentlichung", so this isn't a confirmation, it's the timeframe they target.

Nein, Ich bin OkeyDokey.

Yeah, I saw this on gaf. I'm surprised nobody has asked about the validity of the photo. Normally people are more skeptical about things like this, but everybody on gaf and here has taken it as 100% legit, despite BlimBlim and other guys that have gone to the conference never mentioning such a pamphlet.

That being said, these same guys are still posting in the gaf thread, and they haven't bothered to refute the photo, so I suppose it's real.
