Forums - Nintendo - I'm going to gorge myself on gaming bliss for a few weeks.

Now, that isn't to say I'm going to be playing video games the whole time, because that isn't the case, but I do intend to spend my next few weeks gaming the best way possible.

In the first place I will be playing Little King's Story - at long last, the night has ended, and the Sun will rise again on my game collection. This day has been coming since forever.

The truth of the matter, though, is that my wfe and I are going to be playing the console Zelda games from Ocarina to Twilight. I'm trying to get her to include the original game and Link to the Past in the equation, but I'm not married to the idea - we wer both actually introduced to the series via Ocarina of Time, and the games that have come out since then are the ones w have shared for the pas eight years or so.

We will be playing Ocarina of Time together, alternating dungeons. Majora's Mask I will play by myself, since I have only beaten it once. Wind Waker we will play together, and Twilight Princess she will beat by herself, since we completed that game in such a frenzy of motion and violence that she does not remember it as well as she could. I hope she will appreciate the game more this time through. We'll take our times progressing through the games, noting how the game's design has changed in 3-D over the years. I think it will be a very positive experience for both of us and help supply us with some perspective on these goings-on.

In any case we'll be ready for Zelda Wii whenever it's announced (the announcement is half the fun, after all).

That, however, is not the end of it.

With Metroid Prime Trilogy coming out tomorrow, I think we'll end up doing the same thing with Zero Mission, Super Metroid, Fusion, and the Primes. I think we should play them in the order they were released, but we'll see what my wife has to say about it.

I tell you, it's things like these that make me appreciate my hobby.

Well good for you. It must be nice to have someone so close to you that enjoys video game.

*sigh*

School starts tomorrow for me and what you are saying really pisses me off though.

*sigh*

And I have to go to bed early!

Gaming bringing people together....its a beautifull thing (wipes tear). I myself am going to get the trilogy and Resident Evil 4 tommorow.

I'm planning something similar im getting all Fallout DLC's on tuesday and i want to strat this game again , i've completed most of it on PC some time ago but now i want to start again and play it intensivly for a week or 2. I enjoyed my summer a lot so i havent played that many games recently.

It will be a good time to also finish Lost Odyssey (great game, but so cheesy at moments i feel like im watchin a Soap), play Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn one more time.

I think at the end of it I'll ask her what she likes more between Metroid and Zelda.

I'll see if her head blows up.

Ah damn, same here. CEGEP?

As for you Khuutra, have fun while it lasts! Mwahaha!

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Watch my insane gameplay videos on my YouTube page!

It's really hard to make this sound sinister.

Yes...cegep. *sigh*

My sympathies.

I thought you meant the Metroid Prime trilogy alone. Damn, you are in for some fun.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Damn, I can only get my girlfriend to watch me play games, and only when they're story-intensive affairs. Although she did like Endless Ocean....

I was actually planning on playing Ocarina of Time and maybe Chrono Trigger over again, just to remind me what a great video game is supposed to be like.

"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."
