Forums - Microsoft - Magna Carta II ... Why does... (X360 Exclusive Topic.)

Simply because it's not a big name franchise. As a RPG fan, I've been keeping my eye on it. However, most people will over look the game. It's not like it's a Chrono Trigger sequel or something.

@Waron

I just noticed your signature. That's hilarious man.

I hated the first one, but this game does look promising. I'll probably wait until it's $30-40 if I decide to pick it up. I just don't feel like spending $60 for it when I'm not sure I'll enjoy it.

Probably because I don't give a crap for JRPGs.

i already have mine paid off and cant wait for it on oct 13th. :)

It received 29/40 from famitsu. It's an ok score but you can't always trust famitsu so maybe the reception will be better here. They gave The Last Remnant 38/40 so...there's still hope.

because JRPGs are not big genres. There might be a handful successful JRPGs in this industry, and even less in the West.

If you are a JRPG-Fan, be happy that you might get another good game, but don't expect good sales or great media attention.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

I almost bought Titty Rpg based on its box art, alone. It was unusually expensive, though. I impulse buy Titty games for $35 or less. Part one was $70 on the PS2! I may buy Titty 2 at full price if the reviews are good.

Well the PS2 one sucked.... I'll have to see how this plays first.

I'll get it whenever the price drops, all the stuff I've seen so far looks good.

themanwithnoname's law: As an America's sales or NPD thread grows longer, the probabilty of the comment "America = World" [sarcasticly] being made approaches 1.

First day buy when it arrives in PAL land. Looks interesting. Gameplay looks great, much more fun than Eternal Sonata.

Well hype isnt there like other big games. Hope is sell well in western, and hope it will get som good ADs.

I bet PS3-version will be released in JP next year, araound the same time. No ''Only on Xbox 360'' logo on the boxart. And we know that no single jrpg that namco is publisher for is exclusive in the end for the XO.

Last year it was Eternal Sonata, this year it’s Vesperia. Who knows, with the way Namco Bandai has been lately, this might be a possible 2010 game for PS3 and make it 3/3..
