Good choice Tayne! It was a pretty good game!

Also, Custom Robo: Battle Revolution for the GameCube comes into mind.

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Too Human was actually pretty good.
It has flaws, but they were not game-breaking IMO. It also had a great achievement list.

vagrant story!!!!!!!

Legacy of the Wizard

I think it is a hidden gem, at least. Never hear anybody really talk about and it's definitely one of my favorite NES games.

The Above Games are...

Chaos Legion - PS2

Folklore - PS3

Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria - PS2

and...

Phantasy Star Portable - PSP

Phantasy Star Portable and Valkyrie Profile 2 both Sold really well for underdog JRPG's but Chaos Legion and Folklore didn't do to well in sells... from what VGChartz states anyway.

hidden gems as in hidden from the interwebz or hidden from the market?

well, everyone seems to hate Bomberman Hero simply because it lacks a multiplayer mode, but it's actually great and the singleplayer is absolutely much better than Bomberman 64.

Shenmue series (best games ever)

The Glass Rose (same developer as Hotel Dusk,Another code and Little kings story)

Crystalis (better than NES Zelda)

Astal (amazing and pretty 2d platformer on Saturn)

Roomania (quirky DC game you play as a ghost that haunts some dudes apt)

An RTS for the pc back in I think 1999 call KRUSH KILL N DESTROY 2: Krossfire. That game is still one of my favourites of all time
