I live in the USA, and this is also dumb reasoning too.  I agree with the guys above, the ones with the more games is the one i'll get.  I know the 360 has superior online, but man, thats just racist.

What I meant was. Do your friends have PS3 or Xbox 360? I only know 1 guy with PS3 and rest of them have 360. That one guy also has 360. If you don't have any friend with neither system then get PS3 since you have the PS3's game list longer.

Well alot of the guys I know at school are looking at getting Ps3s now b/c of the price drop but thats only to play killzone 2 / resistance 2.  I'm sure i'll be on lbp / ratchet / uncharted.

I don't need a PS3. I have more than enough games from 360 and PC to play. Already have blu-ray player.

You don't NEED anything... the 360, having a great video card, a Bluray player, etc.

 

If you WANT the games the PS3 has eventually, you really won't get it if it becomes dirt cheap? You don't desire to play games and have fun?

I tend to like games with online multiplayer more. LIVE is perfect for that. It's great to have alot of PC games in 360 because I don't have to face cheaters in 360 version.

What does LIVE have to do with stopping cheaters? If you don't even have a PS3 how can you experience PSN and know there are cheaters on a periodtic basis? You can't know that with only playing a few hours occasionaly at a friend's house.

I don't comment on LIVE, because I've never played on it long enough, nor at all.

Console gaming is much safer from cheaters than PC gaming. There are more PC games for 360 and more games in general.

Ahhh, sorry, I'm a bit tipsy so O.o I should have definietly read that better.

Anyways, to be completely honest I say you made the perfect choice in grabbing the 60GB PS3. You get backwards compatibility, free online and Bluray for the new HDTV.

Good choice, hope you enjoy it.

What's system link?

If I had the money, I'll buy an arcade, or maybe an elite so my household can have all 3 consoles.

You listed more PS3 games and it is arguably the best value for money. So you should probably go for that but you'd be satisfied with either of them.

Edit- So he already got a 60GB PS3? Well, I should read the whole thread before I post but I'm just too lazy. Enjoy, OP.

Well, you often see people list the fact that a lot more people own the 360 as one of its perks; however, if a lot more people buy the PS3 Slim instead, then that could switch to being one of the Slim's perks.
