What do you think? Wii is already so small that a slim would be the size of a handheld?

Well it doesn't have to be slim in the sense that it is skinnier/shorter(remember it has to be big enough to fit the DVD drive at least.) They could just make it lighter, with a nicer design. I think they will do colors, then a price drop first if it is necessary.

That would exclude all the games already released. Not something Nintendo would want to do.

They did mention a while back about developing a Wii that didn't need the fan to cool it, and simply cooled by convection. (which would be very impressive for a disc-based games console)

I think both size and design are just fine as it is... they will just play the colours card some more. Then they can drop the price, probably not in a great hurry there.
