Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Kaplan officially exits Nintendo (vice president of marketing)

"

No replacement named

Nintendo's Perrin Kaplan has officially announced her departure from the company.

In an e-mail to Reuters, Kaplan stated: "I finally will be leaving Nintendo at the end of the year. Until then, I am focused on getting a great transition team in place and handling all of my normal responsibilities as well."

Earlier in the year, when Nintendo said that it would be moving its sales and marketing staff to New York and San Francisco, it was rumoured that senior managers George Harrison, Perrin Kaplan and Beth Llewelyn would not be making the move.

Both Llewelyn and Harrison have since confirmed their departure.

Kaplan, Nintendo's vice president of marketing, has been with the company for 15 years.

There has been no official announcement naming replacements for the departed staff."

The Philidelphia was not an accident. It was a merciful bullet to the head of a malignant ideology. It was the death of fear and the birth of hope. Rejoice, children of Nod, the blood of your oppressors will flow and fifty years of tyranny will finally end. Transformation is coming. A new day will dawn. The future... is ours
