The PS3 is a STEAL at $299. It's all over, it's all over!

Well, to be fair, there is a 199 360, and for the last year, it was competing against the 399 PS3, which made the PS3 look "primitive" in the marketing department, and I didn't see you complaining then. :P
If someone still prefers the 360's games, then it's still the best choice. Especially at 199.
I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.
NO NO, NO NO NO.

I guess so...same as when the first Xbox went cheaper than the PS2, or the Cube. For people who liked their games, it was nice I guess.
@leo-j Fat ladies will never stop buying Wiis. It would be like asking old ladies to stop buying BINGO or forget about scrabble. For the most part is a whole different demographic. However, those consumers who are "in-between demographics", those are the ones who will look for value, and they may even buy a Wii too, but they'll also get a PS3, and viceversa.

I disagree with this. I think the 360 sold significantly more because it had the price advantage. Everyone in their right mind wants a PS3, they just couldn't afford it at the time. Now that's no longer the case. It'll be an interesting couple months.

It's all about the game.

Except for people who want to play with people in the much larger LIVE network, or just like the 360's games more, or find some other point in the value proposition that swings the question in favor of the 360.
"Everyone in their right mind" indeed...
