From a 1up interview with Akitoshi Kawazu:

"Vagrant Story was a title that pushed the PS one to its limits. The technical hurdles in porting it to the PSP would be extremely high. Of course, I think it's the next natural candidate for such an update, and there's no denying its extreme popularity overseas."

Anyone else getting fed up with S-E remaking every game the have in their back catalogue. Vagrant story was one of the best games on the PSone but I would much rather they did a sequel than simply port the original to the PSP. 

I think its smart to remake it since you cant buy ps1 games anymore..

They have to find some way to have money in case FFXIII does not pull through.

It would be better if they made it downloadable onto the PSN, then it could still be on the PSP and you could play it on PS3 as well. Seeing as you can access the PSN from a PC, that means anyone with an internet connection and either a PSP or PS3 could play it.

SE prefers to remake games and sell them full price than releasing the original versions on VC, PSN, LIVE.

Id like this remake, also gimmi a Xenogears and ChronoCross remake.

I am really happy about this as I never got to play it. A Xenogears remake would also rock my socks.

This is game I want them to remake.

Older games that didn't recieve much popularity in the US. Kinda what their doing with the 3D remakes on the DS.
