Well, the whole thread was a troll. The 360 is guaranteed to break in 3 years is stupid and has no baring. He should of said there is a good chance it will break in 3 years. That would of at least been true to factual information (54% failure).

The real issue is that I've seen so many trolls from the 360 gang that it's rather unfair. Hacking at backwards compatibility is just as bad as the failure rate really.

The problem here is that ''fighting the good fight for Sony'' is mindless it implies your actually part of one side. You can onw one of their consoles but fighting for them is fanboy behaviour. It's also totally unneeded as saying some stupid things on one webpage won't change anything except fill the other fanboy's hearts with joy. It also takes up room that should go to interesting discussions and predictions based on realistic views of the situation instead of ''everything we do is GOOD, everything they do is BAD''.

Inverted, you've been around for a while - and you know what will get you banned and what won't. What joy does it give you to do what txrattlesnake did? If you had access to a newer - read it - newer 360, you'd realize why RROD happened and what MS did to make sure it doesn't happen again.

It's a standard PS3 fanboy talking point. That's why he got banned. The PS3 does a lot of good things, but some folks prefer the 360 over it. Actually 8M+ prefer it.

RROD happens. So what. DRE happened in the PS2s - and is still happening.

The arrogance from Sony and it's zealots are what's turning people off on Sony.

     An 8 million lead doesn't imply that 8 million more people prefer the 360.  If PS3 does get up to 5 to 6 million in Japan after the holidays that would mean only 6 million prefered it, then another couple of million more for PS3 in Europe and Japan next year over 360, then according to that reasoning only 2 million prefer 360. 

The same can be said about 360 and its own set of whatevers, its not a one way road pal.
