60GB is not the best model, i would choose PS3 slim over it. 60 GB is the model that breaks the most and gets YLODs.

you should get a ps3 slim. You wont regret it. If you think that you like wii controllers better, PS Motioin Control is coming out in 2010, which is identical to wiimotes, except its more trackable in the Z axis.

So you can be playing some of your favourite games from wii, but in HD and with full populated online.

In my opinion you should get one now. Blu Ray is becoming more popular, and in a few years it could be more popular then DVD. You'll have a ps3 that can play blu rays so you wont need to buy a $200 Blu Ray player.

Online is free. instead of having to pay $50 or ANY amount of money, you get online 100% free. You will meet lots of cool people and make friends depending on which games you play.

ALSO, the power brick is INSIDE the PS3, so there are barely any cords coming out of the PS3, especially if you use the $100 built in wifi connector. Of course it IS free though :P

Yeah, if i believed in every ad i've seen, i would think XBOX Live is free...
