Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6).  This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.

It's a shame that Impact's ratings are so low. "Wrestling fans" only have themselves to blame though. More of them continue to tune into the show that hasn't even had a main event the last two weeks. It's been two weeks and not longer, right?

That couldn't be more far off. TNA only has themselves to blame. What has everyone said all along? The #1 time you don't want to go head to head with WWE is the weeks leading up to Mania and the first week following Mania. What has everyone said about the time? 8-10 would be better then 9-11. TNA went against the grain and now they're paying for it.

RAW on monday was really strong. Of course there was the diva and guest host filler but everything else was really strong. The Shawn farewell speech was pitch perfect. Must watch stuff for any wrestling fan.

As for HHH winning at Mania, it's fine, the feud will go on. WWE is obviously behind Sheamus, I wouldn't worry about it.

I agree that TNA made a huge mistake by choosing this time of year to try to go head to head with WWE, but I think that wrestling fans really should be supporting them more.  I mean they have guys do moves off of the top rope, aren't rated PG, and actually do have main events on their show.

I watched RAW and wasn't impressed.  Shawn Michaels was a great in ring performer, but never a favorite of mine.  Bret Hart is a way better man than me for forgiving him, Vince, and Hunter for what they did to him.

HHH beatind Sheamus was terrible and it's one of the huge things that I hate about WWE.  Sheamus got built up to be a main event heel just to lose and eventually fade into the midcards and then slowly into nothing.  It's just like Bam Bam Bigelow, King Kong Bundy, and Big John Studd all over again.

I think it is about time we all tried Stablewars again, and see how our teams do by the end of the season: http://www.stablewars.com/sw/wwe_registration.php

Oh also, last night I saw Mr. Anderson wrestling in a mexican wrestling promotion. Guess they have a talent exchange deal. Was pretty crazy.

WWE's storylines are far from B-class drama, but TNA's storylines are not only painful to watch, but badly executed to boot, and when you're being compared against WWE that's saying a lot.

TNA has a deep enough talent pool to outdo WWE in the match department, but when they only have around 15 minutes of (horribly booked) actual wrestling in a 90 minute Impact, it rarely shows. Speaking of talent, the vast majority of guys TNA has on top are either senior citizens like Hogan, Flair, Nash and Hall, or other WWE/WCW-rejects like X-pac, Anderson and Angle. The only important guy you can call TNA's own is AJ Styles.

I would support TNA more if they actually tried to produce a real alternative to WWE, but they don't do even try to do that - at best, TNA is WWE lite, at worst it's dying-WCW lite. I mean - unless you really, REALLY love some of the guys on TNA or outright hate the WWE, why would you support TNA?

Not to mention, they've been around since 2002, so being "new" isn't an excuse.

I dunno - except for the sucky finish, HHH/Sheamus was a far more even outing that I expected. Hell, Sheamus outdid HHH for most of the match.

Unless they completely forget about him after WM (which is certainly possible), Sheamus shouldn't be going anywhere.

Hatin on Angle is unacceptable! haha. He is the man though.

Anyway, yeah, Daniels is gone. He head lined 2 out of 4 ppvs just a couple months ago and now TNA has nothing left for him. The wrestling fan in me hates it. But he really has no place in the new Hogan run TNA. He doesn't have that superstar look. Oh well.

A quick fact about HHH "not doing the job" at mania this year, he is only 7-7 in mania's for his career.

By comparison, the rock was 4-4, chris jericho is 4-6, edge is 5-4, kane is 5-7, bret hart is 8-6, christian is 4-5, etc

Also, more lopsided records belong to steve austin at 5-2, john cena at 6-1, hogan at 8-3-1, big show at 2-8, big bossman at 5-1(!), JBL at 2-8, etc

So, as much as HHH is in with the major players, it's not like he's never put anyone over.
