I mean, I know he doesn't NEED the wrestlemania payout. But I can't see not taking it anyway.

I'm hoping this is just another fake shoot.

This is getting ridiculous with all this contact expiring, leaving the company shoots lately.

Bet with gooch_destroyer, he wins if FFX and FFX-2 will be at $40 each for the vita. I win if it dont

Yeah.  I personally think WWE (TNA too, but they're a lost cause for the next few years) needs to take a look at their product.  It's beyond stale.  It's the same set, same people, over and over.  When other people start making their mark and spicing things up, they get buried.  News flash HHH, Orton is NOT the face of WWE.  His time is past, so's Batista.

Regarding Punk, this would be a very odd time to leave the WWE but maybe he doesn't believe things will improve. There have also been the reports that he's physically beat up from the last few months. Who knows, I'm not going to assume this rumor is true without some real confirmation.

I've said it before, though, that they're not going to let Punk get to the top as long as Cena is there, as Punk's popularity has a negative effect on Cena's. I've been convinced for awhile that Vince will do anything to protect Cena's image. That puts an effective cap on how high Punk can climb. If he really is highly goal driven then that knowledge has to hurt.

Could be that this is a negotiating maneuver or maybe the WWE is just giving him some time off due to physical or mental exhaustion. Wouldn't surprise me to see him back at work soon.

As for me, I'm getting burnt out on the WWE's fixation on Cena and Orton. Even when one of them doesn't have the belt for a little while you get the feeling that it's temporary and they're just loaning it out. All either one of them has to do is announce that they want the title and suddenly they're the number one contender, doesn't even matter if they're coming off a loss or not.

And the thing is... Cena I don't mind so much, he's got his fans... he sells his merchandise...

Orton i don't think has had a big following for years.

Orton?  I don't believe for a second he sells more merchandise then Daniel Bryan, and that's the excuse for not pushing bryan.

NoDQ.com > WWE > ESPN Says Punk & Officials Had Backstage Argument
Posted by Steve Carrier on 01/29/2014 at 05:47 PM

For what it's worth, ESPN Cleveland reporter Casey Kulas reports that he heard from sources at Monday's RAW in Cleveland that there was a heated backstage exchange between WWE officials and CM Punk.

He wrote:

"My info on CM Punk: I do know from sources that at #Raw in CLE there was heated exchange backstage between Punk & staff. Topic - concussion."

"Punk was heard arguing with staff saying "I passed all your damn concussion test" and "I'm not going out and telling fans that BS""

The Punk thing reminds of Gail Kim. She got fed up and basically quit during--that's right--a battle royal match.

Anyway, if Punk really is gone, I know what that means.

Push time for Sheamus!

The ref looked like he was telling batista to point at the big WWXXX sing.

Noticed it too... After winning one already, you thought he would have known.

What a joke the Royal Rumble has become.

TNA may wanna jump on this

I watch WWe and not TNA because as stale as WWE has become... TNA is just god awful

WWE needs to really look at it's product. Matches and everything is tooooo predictable. Cena matches are way to stupid. He gets beat up for 30 minutes and somehow triumphs. STALE imo
