For anyone that missed Raw last night. This is The Rock Concert 4. The 2nd song was pretty funny.

So I saw the first 5 minutes of Saturday Slam. I'll say, it's a crying shame. Natalya and Alicia are better wrestlers than 90% of the men on the roster. Too bad they weren't given enough time for ring psychology.

I think what bugs me most is that Tyson Kidd is out on injury for most of 2013...and he's easily one of the best on the roster as far as skill is concerned.  HAs a lot to learn on the mic, but damn that kid can wrestle.   perfect fatal 4 way would be CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler, and Tyson Kidd. 

That's bad.  WWE needs to bring back managers.  Vicky can't do it alone.

Gotten into the habit of downloading all the old Royal Rumbles (got a rumble pack, 2001-2010), and I'm making my way backwards. turns out I'd never seen RR2010 before!

Why am I doing this? Royal Rumble is my favorite event match of the year and even though it's looking like John Cena will win, there are about a dozen legitimate possibilities to win it (Wade Barret, Bryan and Kane after they lose the titles, Kingston, Miz, Ziggler, Ryback, etc). Here's hoping some NEW talent wins it, not SuperCena, who will likely start at #1 and beat Rey Mysterio's 62 minute record despite interference by the Shield and CM punk and all the other heels ganging up on him.

I think me and my friend were talking about this, but the best thing to do would have Punk win via help and have the Rock win at Mania.  Be a lot more compelling than Cena vs Rock II (Since, you know, their promos will be the same and suck).  That way Rock will have some material for his promos.  Punk can go on bragging about how he beat the Rock (While ignoring he had outside help).  You can set up a stipulation match, like a cage match, or a hell in a cell, to keep outside interference out of the match.   That way the Rock and Punk have a bit more psychology to work with in their match and reduce or completely eliminate any outside asisstance for Punk.  Rock can win clean and it'll keep Punk strong since he lost by being Rock Bottomed through a table after being hit by a chair (Or kicking out of a regular Rock Bottom).  Rock gets his title in a hard earned match.  Vince McMahon walks out of Wrestlemania with a lot of money.  But knowing the monkie's they have writing for WWE they'll go with Rock vs Cena II and have the same rehash that they had last year.

I guess Dolph will be the ironman at the Rumble this year. Cena throws him out when we are down to the last 5 right after Biggie Langston gets tossed by Cena. A shield member makes it to the top 3? Cena wins, The Rock wins, twice in a lifetime.
So less then 1/2 odds on a WWE 14 now. 2K sounds like an ideal choice for the franchise.

I really, REALLY don't want Cena to win the rumble. There are only TWO people I don't want winning the rumble: John Cena and Ryback.

I don't want John Cena winning because he doesn't need to, there are dozens of other stars that need the push and there are better ways to get Cena and Rock together at wrestlemania (even though I think it's terrible to do once in a lifetime twice).

I don't want Ryback to win because he's terrible. He can barely wrestle, he has no mic skills or charisma, and yet has been pushed to the top. I agree with the Shield and want them to bury Ryback. That, and none of his matches have been longer than 12 minutes. He's strong, he's fun to watch, but he's also incredibly boring and relatively talentless. He's a powerhouse, nothing more. Hell, Big e Langston is more interesting ever since picking up a mic.

Ugh, I love the product overall, but sometimes I straight up hate the writers and bean counters.

Best case for scenario is Punk beats Rock and Rock wins the Rumble.
