I worked overtime last night so I didn't watch the PPV (and I wouldn't have ordered it anyway) but my friend says that Ryback has been defeated. Guess WWE didn't learn from Goldberg. The streak is the main attraction for a guy like Ryback. He doesn't have an extensive moveset. He's not good on the mic. People tune in to see if he can be stopped. Now, he's just a second rate Batista.

Well he wasn't defeated cleanly, if that helps. he was interrupted by the ref then low blowed by him.

The match fucking sucked, and the pay per view was terrible.  had some decent matches, but why even HAVE a pay per view called hell in a cell if there's only one HIAC match and it's only 11 minutes long and shit?

Del Rio vs Orton was maybe a 4/10 match.  had some good spots, but lots of boring shit.  Del Rio fucking sucks.

Rhodes Scholars vs Hell No was 6/10, had some good spots and a decent ending despite ending unclean

Kofi vs Miz was solid 7/10 but could have been much better given the athleticism of both men and Miz's charisma

Cesaro vs his challenger was decent 5/10, but basically a slightly slower, less interesting kofi vs Miz.

PtP vs Cara/Rey was 5.10, not bad, nothing special and had no stakes

Show vs Sheamus was probably the best match at 8/10

I didn't watch the women's 3 way match

Punk vs Ryback was a 2/10 match for it being short, most of it consisting of Punk running away.

Man, it sounds like that PPV DID suck!  I was looking for Punk/Ryback to blow the roof off the place in a brutal Hell in the Cell match but it sounds like that didn't happen at all.  Everything else seems like it was TV calibre and lacking inthe PPV feel.

And that's a big problem for WWE.  A PPV is what?  4 hours of (supposed) wrestling.  It's supposed to be the culmination of a month's worth of stories with Wrestlemania being the culmination of a years worth of stories.  The product is just strectched too thin.  There aren't enough top tier guys.  We still have Cena, Orton, Punk, Sheamus, Big Show, and Ziggler.  That's about it.  Those guys have gotten a bit stale, TBH.  Guys like Del Rio, Kofi Kingston, etc. are entertaining but just aren't on that level, yet.  Ryback added some excitement because he was somewhat of a spectacle to behold but I didn't even feel like "Oh shit!  It's Ryback!  CM Punk is going to get it now!" when he showed up last night.  For me, his stock has dropped now that his streak is broken--even if it wasn't a clean win.

I got sidetracked.  I was going to say that we get THREE HOURS of Monday Night Raw.  We get matches like Champion vs. Champion on Main Event.  We get Orton vs. Big Show on Friday Night Smackdown.  There's still Saturday Morning Slam (for the kiddies), and if you look hard enough, you can find WWE Superstars.  The talent is just stretched too thin.  Too much wrestling programs, each with a PPV quality match.  Suddenly, PPV matches just don't excite anymore.

Ryback is now a main eventer? This sort of thing is why I don't watch the WWE hardly at all. This is sad since I used to be a really hardcore wrestling fan.

They pushed him like Goldberg and fans started getting behind him. He was more hype than talent, though. The WWE saw fit to screw that up by making him lose at a throw-away PPV. He won't be a main event player for long.

So they actually got it to work and already blew it?  My Lord.

Goldberg might not have been the best wrestler, but his jackhammer slam was very impressive since he could do it to anyone, including The Giant (The Big Show).  The guy had freakish strength.

They're keeping the title on punk for punk vs rock at royal rumble. They should have made punk drop the title till the rock came back into the picture then screwed ryback over to keep the streak alive and continue the Goldberg strategy. It's working for sure, Wwe just need to wake up to it.

I'd rather see more of Ryback than this 3MB bullshit, because that is just 3mbarrassing. I actually would like to get some faction wars back into WWE but not with a bunch of throw-away jobbers at the helm, are u kidding me...

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

The called the Playstation Vita the Playstation Vight-uh.  That was pretty awesome.

Also, Paul Heyman had a heart attack.  I was disgusted.

So I randomly decided to go watch Survivor Series last night. I'll say, it's been a good few months since I've watched WWE but they put on a good PPV. Women's match and AJ segment was horrible (Really someone train these women cause they suck and can cause injuries during their matches). But overall I was impressed with the overall quality of the matches. Looks like everyone is stepping up their in ring abilities. Been a while since I've seen a bridging german suplex. Disappointed with the lack of mid match holds, but the majority of matches involved more than 2 people so using holds in these situations would be a bad idea.
