Results so far!

Cesaro def. Santino Marella (US Title Match)
The Miz def Rey Mysterio (IC Title Match)
Chris Jericho def Dolph Ziggler
Daniel Bryan def Kane

US Title Match - Good decision
IC Title Match - Good decision
Jericho vs Ziggler - I had a feeling Jericho would win, too bad Ziggler didnt get the push....
Bryan vs Kane - Surprised, glad they are pushing Bryan

Poor Ziggler, the man just can't catch a break.  Maybe he has to do something completely different with his career.  Maybe he needs to become a ruthless guy and "break" some arms.

He'll probably do that tommorrow night at Raw lol.

Even more results!

Sheamus def. ADR (World Heavyweight Title)
Kingston-RTruth def. Prime Time Players (Tag Team Title)
CM Punk def. John Cena + Big Show (WWE Title)

Glad Punk retained, but they made him pin Show instead of Cena....looks like Punk is gonna lose to Cena in the next PPV ~.~.

I wouldn't be surprised.  Everyone is talking about Lesnar vs the Rock.

To me what makes the most logical sense is Cena beating Punk, losing the title to the rock... then winning the Royal Rumble while starting off at like 7th or 8th.

going through some stuff and FINALLY overcoming the rock at a Wrestlemania Rematch.

OOp

Summerslam ended and the final match verdict is in

Brock Lesnar def. Triple H

Seems like it was a "emotional" ending as Lawler stated it seemed like HHH said goodbye leaving people speculating it may of been a retirement match...(how many does he need seriously?).

I'm glad with the overall results, wish Ziggler won the match. They need to work on the tag team title bouts, IC and US titles as well.

7/10 for this SS (just by reading the results, didnt actually see it lol).

Yeah, I didn't watch it either, nor Raw or Smackdown for a very long time.  I just like reading about it.

You mean like losing the title to the Rock at Survivor series?

Exactly.

So who here thinks Jericho is gonna be placed in a injury angle and how do you think he is gonna be placed in it o.O?

From what we know Jericho is already gone (not on RAW today), but yet we know nothing so...

Incase he does appear on Raw tonight, they could do a SS rematch where Ziggler ends up not only beating Jericho but injuring him which in turn would be a push for Ziggler.

That's the most likely but still not 100% sure, and that's IF...

Did you guys read AW's tweets? (of AWPromotions, manager of Prime Time Players). He was fired for Kobe joke.
Also, I had almost forgotten about it but Linda was running for office, which now makes sense with WWE turning PG-13.

Well that was a horrible summerslam. I'm glad I don't pay for these pay per views, you can never tell when they're going to be good.

Jericho vs Ziggler was pretty awesome, but I do think Ziggler should have won. could have gone longer, too.
Bryan vs Kane was mediocre and ended horribly. Kane is good and bryan is excellent, but they don't work well together.
the Miz vs Mysterio was okay but way too short. Should have had a stipulation like best 2/3 falls or something.
Sheamus vs Alberto Del Rio was horrible, as usual. Love Sheamus, hate Del Rio and they have NO chemistry.
R-Truth and Kingston vs Prime Time Players we boooooring as hell. super short, uninteresting.
Punk vs Cena vs Show was decent, and I liked the end, but it could have been better and should have been longer.
Brock vs HHH was a good match with an emotional ending, but it was botch ridden.

NONE of these matches were 'Summerslam material.' The best match on the card was Ziggler vs Jericho, and THAT match was done better last Raw when Miz was involved. Brock and HHH like I said was good, but for all the hype is just wasn't well planned. Brock is an intense, skilled fighter, but he's got a lot of ring rust. You could see HHH tapping brock's back, and brock refused to let him get the counter, not to mention he kept doing the same moves over and over again. Brock did this same thing last time he fought, too, doing the same move to Cena twice before getting clocked in the head with the chain. Brock is ambitious and talented, but he needs to come back full time so he can actually get GOOD at the 'sport'.

There's a reason they call him Botch Lesnar.

I think Miz vs Mysterio could turn out to be a fantastic rivalry, but so many things should just END already. ADR and Sheamus needs to end, but it won't. The Prime Time Players need to stay in the game but we need to get more talent, perhaps a triple threat elimination match between them and Epico and Primo or something. so much potential wasted.

And I don't care if you're punishing him, I want to see more Orton! lots of people hate him and I get that, but he's very talented and has a ton of intensity.

Oh. did you also know that Sheamus is 15 days away from having the 2nd longest Heavyweight Reign? yep, I checked it out and the only reign longer than him was when HHH had it near the beginning of the title's existence for 280 days, the next longest reigns have been 156 days for Batista and Chris Benoit each, with Sheamus being at 141 currently.

Also, CM punk is currently at 274, 6 days short of his next milestone that like three people have made. Once he lasts till the end of this week with the belt (he will), he will pass Cena and I think Cena again and someone else to have the second longest reign since 1994. (only Cena with a 380 day reign in I think 2006/2007 bests him).

WWE loves Punk and Sheamus! I figure Punk will hold onto it till Royal Rumble....just to prove a point or to give him that accolade, beating Cena to become the longest Reign since Diesel in 1994. well, I don;t ACTUALLY think that'll happen, but I'd love to see it since I like Punk and if the double team of Cena and Show couldn't stop him, I doubt anyone will till Royal Rumble.

Actually, allow me to amend my statement: If CM punk holds onto his belt another 106 days and beats John Cena's best reign he will be the best and longest Reign since Hulk Hogan's reign that lasted from 1984-1988...1474 days.

Since hogan's Reign that ended in 1988, the top reigns have been:

Super Cena - 380 days
Randy Savage - 371 days
Hulk Hogan - 364 days
Diesel - 358 days
The Ultimate Warrior - 294 days
Yokozuna - 280 days
JBL - 280 days
Super Cena - 280 days
CM Punk - 274 days

The belt has only been held more than 300 days ONCE since 1994 when Diesel had it, and Punk is gonna hold it over 300 days until at least Night of Champions. FRom there, he'll have passed JBL, Cena, Yokozuna, and The Ultimate Warrior. Before Hogan's 1474 day reign, championship reigns have been regularly a year or longer. Backlund had it for over 2000 days once, 600 days another time, Bruno Sammartino had a 2800 day reign and another 1000+day reign. Things have changed since the 90's.

So punk is doing well, and will get one of the longest reigns ever, beating all but one of Cena's for sure. I don;t think he WILL beat Cena's 380 day reign (making it the longest reign since 1988), but that's still damn impressive. Go Punk! Heel or face, he's awesome.

Last post was very informative, Runa!

As for the Summerslam results, I guess I'm happy with them for the most part. Ziggler could have won but he's "Mr. Money in the Bank". It doesn't matter whether he wins or loses since he's still going to be the #1 contender (and a future champion) regardless of what happens. Jericho, on the other hand, is due for a win. It wasn't "The Big One" but it does give him back some credibility since all he's been able to do is suck since Elimination Chamber.

I'm still a Daniel Bryan fan so I'm glad he won. Couldn't care less about Sheamus and Del Rio but I'm tired of the WWE trying to force Sheamus on us. He's just bland, imho. Aside from that, looking at the results, it looked like a good show. That is, if the storytelling of the matches was done properly. If the action sucked, then......
