This sucks. This is why I dont approve of multiplatform releases, they have to be fair to everyone.

I don't know why, but with how S-E has been recently I can't help but picture this game being over the top with DLC that probably should have been on the disc.

Somehow I think this game is going to upset me greatly.

I guess you haven't seen the $38 FFIV The After Years or the Life as a King/Dark Lord DLC have you?

I think it may happen, DLC only seems to be getting worse these days and really gives me the urge to pirate that shit.

Some things like Fallout 3 DLC are different because they actually add a lot, but when I first wanted to get FFIV The After Years and saw that the game was seperated into 8 seperate packs I was like "Fuck it" and downloaded that shit. Now I have every single part, even the final Crystals chapter while all the paying customers are still waiting.

It just annoys me.

Of course though I have to buy FFXIII. I have purchased every other game in the main series from retail since I began playing them in 1994. Some games I just have to own and S-E knows this. >:(

Bawwwwww! I would pay $138 for FFIV: The After. In my day, we paid $50 for World Games on the NES, and we liked it!

I dunno, I just don't see them going that route on a mainline Final Fantasy. We'll see, though.
