That's redundant. You're saying saying that since it is #1 in amazon that it is indicating sales for the PS3 on amazon?
Technically, it could be served as a general guideline. This shows that there is much higher demand then there used to be. But then again, it showed Final Fantasy hovering around the top 100.

Again, I think that gamers who do a little more research will probably choose the phat, but see my other thread about that one. :P PS: I spend an assload of money on Amazon. Whatever you think I spend on amazon per month, triple it. Just FYI. Prime member, ect. Amazon rawks and epically wins the internet. |
Very true, Amazon owns the internet when it comes to gear to buy.
BTW will Vgcharts Track all the PS3's bought VIA amazon.com?
On topic, gonna buy 1 more later for my mom if she wants it.

"Amazon being the largest online retailer, shows that there is a sign that the PS3 reallly is gaining steam and quickly, as AMAZON recently released a statement to limit the amount of PS3 slims bought due to high demand."
This doesn't show that the PS3 is gaining steam anywhere apart from on Amazon. That comment seemed to me to imply that the system as a whole was gaining steam indicated by Amazon sales.
@indodude. A baby seal dies anytime anyone uses Amazon as a source for sales.

Leo, it's the top selling TV on Amazon, and you are getting a little to excited about this.

Rath its obviously a sign that the PS3 is increasing in demand.. atleast on AMAZON. Like ive told many people before, don't assume I mean anything else.

I'm sorry, but the LN52B750 epically pwns the PS3. Epically.
I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.
NO NO, NO NO NO.
Actually, no, it's only in the category of TV stuff. Not to mention that even for Amazon, that listing is wrong. In video games, it's 16th, being beaten by things like Wii Fit (14th).

You know, if 10,000 people ordered it, that would climb it to the top, right?
Doesn't it mean that's possible for only 10,001 people to buy it?
It isn't a good indicator of sales at all, but only use it as a very, very, very vague guideline.
