Forums - Sony - Cnet: Skip the PS3 Slim and Buy a Blu-ray Laptop(lol,,wut?)

Ok apearently this is the new comparision.$299 PS3 Vs a $1000 blu ray laptop.after the price cut it's not about PS3 Vs X360.

Yet again Cnet has shown their bias against PS3.

I mean come on.The comparison does not make any sense.they just want to bring the hype for Slim down.(and they are being sneaky by choosing a Sony laptop  so they can say see we are not sony boased.a tactic that first grader might use.)

"

With all the buzz around the new "slim" version of Sony's PlayStation 3, you'd think Sony had an exciting new product on its hands, rather than a slightly smaller, somewhat cheaper version of the existing PS3 (and without any significant new features, or even the return of PS2 backward-compatibility).

If, like us, you've become addicted to the high-definition joy of Blu-ray movies, but your gaming tastes run more toward World of Warcraft, Sims 3, or even Plants vs. Zombies, we suggest taking a look at one of these Blu-ray equipped laptops, such as the Sony Vaio NW160J, detailed below.

Sure, they're all vastly more expensive options than the PS3's newly discounted $299, and if you're shopping based on price, this entire concept may be thinner than the PS3 Slim itself. But, for the extra money, you get not only Blu-ray, but also a 15- or 17-inch high-definition display and a fully functioning high-end PC. (Note that we'd skip the Panasonic DMP-B15K portable Blu-ray player, despite its laptop-like clamshell design.)

With HDMI ports standard, it's easy to hook any of these up to a big-screen TV, and, unlike your PS3, Netflix on-demand and Hulu are no problem. Adventuresome types can even play with installing alternate operating systems--something now missing from the latest PlayStation firmware.

Check out the gallery below to see our Blu-ray gaming laptop choices, or if you prefer, we've set them up in a side-by-side comparison chart here."

It's Cnet.
Their entire site is a joke.
Can you play PS3 game's on a laptop? Didn't think so.. What a joke.

They are recommending an 1000 dollar laptop : http://reviews.cnet.com/laptops/sony-vaio-nw160j-brown/4505-3121_7-33715521.html?tag=mncol;txt

Compared to a 299 PS3.

Is the guy who wrote the article semi-retarded? Or fully?

Fuck them.

Good job cnet

Such a nice loving unbiased site

they even cared enough to stay away from the console war to offer us a nice 1000 dollar laptop

wow

So...after everyone Bitched that the ps3 was too expensive, Sony took down the price now it's okay for things to be expensive again? Poor sony, bastards can't win no matter what they do.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

PS3 slim is so sexy.... Why would they compare a $1000 laptop to a $300 console.... lol. Seems stupid.

You guys are way to paranoid. Just because they are promoting a PC over the PS3 means nothing. Yesterday I told a friend of mine to get a Wii over a 360, that does not mean I am biased towards the Wii

Wait a minute.

Are you trying to deny that Cnet isn't biased against the PS3? If you are, where have you been?

This article right here, shows bias.

It is kind of a bitch slap to Sony, you gotta admit that at least.

It's okay.

Cnet is a joke anyways, it's not a big deal to Sony.
