If Tri is very successful in the West, do you see the possibility of bringing Monster Hunter to PS3 and 360?
We haven’t thought about it yet. We’ve been asked that a lot. As creators, we want to be challenged. And if that challenge would be worthwhile for us to work on in the future, then probably. Having said that, at the moment, I like working with the Nunchuk and the Wiimote quite a lot. Actually, a lot of the R&D guys told me that you can’t go back to using the classic controller because it feels rigid. We’re very happy with Tri If there’s a new challenge on a different console, we’ll consider [it].

I hope Capcom keep this a Wii exclusive but since MS and Sony are electronics giant companies and they have the money, they are probably just going to buy the rights or something if they see it as a system seller and a big title....

At what point does that matter to devs, and they ignore a console base of over 50 million?

not if nintendo keeps it from them. they have made loads of money this gen and they only look to make more

I don't know...... it seems the value of MH on PSP as a social phenomenon far exceeds its value as a video game in Japan, i dont think capcom could want to give it up, but thats might also be the reason why MH is not so successful in other countries......everything will be answered by the sale of MHT in the west.

i know what you mean like wii and ds helped them get the money.....but what i mean is ms and sony have other stuff in the market like software and tvs while if nintendo spends all the money on buying games and advertising too much they won't have any other type of support like sega, if ps3 were by sega, the company would have been or been very close to being shut.....but sony can rely on other markets....so my point is that i hope ninty use the money they have for buying rights and other important things to keep some of their best third party games exclusive to the wii....

and i know what you mean by ninty has money they are sitting on...as of September 2008 Nintendo is the second most valuable company in Japan. 1st is toyota....

1st : Toyota

2nd : Nintendo

3rd : Canon

4th : i don't remember

5th : Sony

Well that tells us... very little.

I'm not quite sure how I feel about the inclusion of a story. The game so far has been simply about hunting monsters, and it worked great that way. A story could either make it better, or make it suck, depending on how they handle it.

Aside from that, we got no new info. Bastards took away my double blades though. That's just not right!
