Yep, mine looks a LOT BETTER than the new one.
The thing is, first SONY tried do sell a high quality product with high quality design looks, techs, etc. The price was high but they still sell it. They were trying to reach consumers by appealing them with high tech.
Now I don't really see what are they trying to do. They want to appeal to who know? If people want a cheap console they still have the Wii and the 360, if people want to buy a "pirate" they still have the Wii and the 360. But if people want to buy a sexy high tech machine they no longer have the "old" PS3.
I'm curious to see how this move is going to influence sales. But it sure doesn't look appealing like in the past.
