The overall hardware boost Wii will get from Resort, MH3, Wii Fit Plus and NSMBWii will trump any Slim/pricecut/FFXIII hardware boost the PS3 gets. The PS3 might beat out the Wii for a few weeks (most likely the Slim/FFXIII launch periods), but overall, there just won't be enough momentum for Sony's machine to counter the momentum Nintendo is preparing for Wii.

I doubt it but with Final fantasy 13 and maybe Gt5 ps3 can sell really good.
Personally i don´t think NSMB will sell more than Final fantasy 13.

Firstly, Nintendo is not going to sit back and let Sony take the holiday season with ease. Plus I doubt Slim and price-cut can do anything for sony and even with final fantasy and posible release of GT5 (99% not going to happen), Nintendo has a really strong momentum and a strong line-up. Especially with MH3, Black Wii, Wii Sports Resort ( remember Iwata expects Resort to lift HW after 6-8 weeks after release and strong legs) NSMBWii and Wii Fit plus. and what about Tatsunoko vs Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars

I believe that Tatsunoko is coming out this year right? if i am wrong please correct me..

So I don't think PS3 can top Wii this holiday season in Japan or any other region.

also Nintendo probably will give us gamers more suprises during their Fall Conference!! Maybe like more colors and other news games......

Like Rolstoppable: NSMBWii will be Gigantic and bigger and better and more badass!

If they have FF13 yes, Sony can at least win December. But Nintendo machines tend to get a higher bump on holidays in Japan than Sony machines.

Look at this week's Famitsu sales ... it was Obon holiday in Japan, and look at the sales chart -- the top games are all Nintendo stuff.

Just something to consider. I think Wii Fit Plus will be bigger in Japan too because EA Sports Active and all those other fitness games are not really prevalent there.
