Toys R Us was a bit depressing, and they stocked their stores with so much crap that no one would ever buy. But I spent a lot of time there as a kid, so....

And when is this purchase going on? I hope it's some time in the period of the Super Mario Galaxy launch.

they seem to do this once a year, in october o5 they ran the same deal, got myself some great games

Actually, once the sale ends, games can only be returned at 66.67% of their original value. I'm pretty sure the original receipt is required.

they do allow the return thing, i did that two years ago, for the life of me i cant remeber what the game was that i used as a holder but i picked up one a month latter

we have a similar Toys'R'Us offer in germany ,but .... only for halloween costumes and not for games *sigh*

that placeholder strategy may have to do for me now that i think about it, with ratchet & clank just around the corner... it look's very good!
