Correction : If you own a 360 and a PS3, it is not that bad.

So for PS3/PSP and 360 owners the year has been "not bad"
I am a Wii only owner nd have bought more games this year than I ever have, the only thing missing from this year has been a big-name game, but that has now changed with WSR, and NSMB.Wii is later too (though I am only planning on buying WSR) Oh, and MH3 but that is only big-name in Japan.

Really? What games have you bought? I've only bought House of the Dead Overkill and Conduit so far for Wii this year. I have to admit, I've been a bit lax in following the latest Wii releases.

Well in truth many have been games that were released before 2009.... but there are a number of games release in 2009 I will almost certainly be buying eventually too (I am skint, I buy very few games close to release)
This year I bought:
Okami
Deadly Creatures (2009 release)
Geometry Wars:Galaxies
Sim City Creator
Tiger Woods '10 (2009)
The Conduit (2009)
And downloadable:
LoZ:Majora's Mask (discountable as it's VC I suppose)
Dr.Mario
World of Goo
Art Style: Orbient
Bomberman Blast
Swords & Soldiers (2009 release)
-----
So so far only 4 that were actually released in 2009.... but of 2009s releases so far I will certainly be getting these:
Wii Sports Resort
Little Kings Story
Pikmin 2
Grand Slam Tennis/Virtua Tennis (still haven't decided but it is leaning towrards Grand Slam)
And likely:
Blast Works
Mushroom Men: The Spore Wars
Possible:
Madworld
(may be some others I have forgotten)
----
And future 2009 releases that I can think of, F1 2009 is a certain buy, as is Metroid Prime Trilogy... Red Steel 2 was a likely, but now it has moved to 2010...While NSMB is a possible. Then Wiiware may add some more too, but I can't be certain of course.
So when all is said and done, at least 10 games that released in 2009 will be bought by me, possibly 14. And if I had more disposable income then that would increase wuite a bit.... I think I should perhaps start selling games back once I have played them, but I like to keep most of my games.
