PlayStation Network to go offline tomorrow, 8/18

The PlayStation Network will be undergoing a few hours of downtime tomorrow during what Sony calls "maintenance." The entire PSN will be down from noon EST to 2PM EST. Ignore that this is happening exactly at the same time as Sony's press conference tomorrow. While the PSN is down, PS3 and PSP owners will not be able to access the PlayStation Store or play games online.

Didn't you just say there will be no slim in another thread?

It's going down half an hour before the conference starts, and going back up half an hour before it ends. They could be making major changes to the store during the down time, or prepping for major changes or a firmware update to go live right at the end of the show.

I can't wait for tomorrow. This is as excited as I've ever been for a non-E3 game conference.

Uh but these rumors are so damn convincing. 

Gotta love sony for doing stuff like this, they act all cool and quite then BAM something epic happens.
