I don't know man. You seem to go outta your way to insult the guy in every able thread or topic you go into. I mean god if you hated him so much why not just act like he never existed or just get over what you claim he did >.> I mean is he on your mind 24/7 sounds like Love or an unhealthy obsession.

Well all those people have done some things for the industry and they should all be applauded.

My No. 1 and 2 pick would be:
Miyamoto (nothing needs to be said)
Gunpei Yokoi (handheld industry)

The rest in no particular Order:
Hiroshi Yamauchi (turned the industry around with the help of my first choice)
Sid Meier (defined turned based strategy into mainstream acceptance)
Bill Gates (Microsoft OS and entry into Video Games)
Ken Kutaragi (Playstation turned video gaming into mainstream)
Yu Suzuki (made arcades relevant for a time)



I game.  You game.  We game.

I'm a videogamer, not a fanboy, but have a special place for Nintendo.

Current Systems Owned: NSwitch/PS4/XONE/WiiU/3DS/2DS/PCGaming Rig-i7/ASUS i7 Gaming Laptop.

Previous Game Consoles:  PS3/Xbox360/Wii/DSL/Pretty much every one thats been released since the Atari 2600.

This thread mentions lots of gaming pioneers, i dont happen to think he is one (Far from it in fact).

So therefore i'm "on topic" in this thread

wow, so many posts not puting Miyamoto #1 !

it's like asking who's the fastest man alive and have people not answer Hussein Bolt (taking example from recent news).
There is just one true indeniable fact in gaming and it is that Miyamoto is the most influancial and sucessfull developper ever and forever. No one will have the opportunity to equal him because what he did was in a different era. Just the same as why bill gates will never be equaled, the industry won't offer the conditions to ever again.
now people in second is something that can be argued... just not the first place ^^

They're not putting Miyamoto as #1 because this isn't where you make that selection; only nominate people to later be voted on.
