My No. 1 and 2 pick would be:
Miyamoto (nothing needs to be said)
Gunpei Yokoi (handheld industry)
The rest in no particular Order:
Hiroshi Yamauchi (turned the industry around with the help of my first choice)
Sid Meier (defined turned based strategy into mainstream acceptance)
Bill Gates (Microsoft OS and entry into Video Games)
Ken Kutaragi (Playstation turned video gaming into mainstream)
Yu Suzuki (made arcades relevant for a time)
I game. You game. We game.
