This is my third time watching the video, and I still say KZ2 looks better...

I really don't see any aspect of this game that looks better than KZ2...

As of now, I have to agree. However, as of now the game is pegged for release in 2011. At that time, it should exceed Killzone 2, specifically in textures and atmosphere.

Carmack himself mentions the game will release "when it's done".. Of course, I made a slight assumption based on GameStop's placeholder release. In my assumption I believe the game will take at least until late 2010. IMO, that's a good thing, no need to rush these projetcs.

How can anyone say that this a new console graphics king when we don't have any video footage from console versions?. That is not even best on PC. Crysis still looks better and it is two years old game.

I was at Quakecon and saw the demo and it was pretty amazing, but:

This was on a PC. While it wasn't being played on an uber amazing OMG!!!! PC, I want to see what it looks like on a console.
What you don't see if a closeup of the ground textures. Everything else in the game is pretty amazing looking but some of those ground textures outside look like PS2 textures.

That said, this game is definately on my list after seeing the demo. It looks like what would happen if id made Fallout 3 and that is awesome.
