Forums - Nintendo - Brownie Brown (Mana, Mother 3) to announce new title this week

DS mother 3 or mana

For wii:-
Wii Mother of mana, a mini game driven type game which consists of making potions that you your self will not use, but that the combatants of our kingdom use. The more effecitve you are at making the motions, the more powerful and useful they become for your allies...you never see the action though, all you get is a scroll sent by the king to show you the results of your potion creation, all based in both mana and mother worlds.....great for the casuals.

DS Mother 3 for a worldwide release is possible, they said a little while ago they'd like to bring the game to DS and to a worldwide audience if Nintendo gave them the go ahead.

What would be really aswesome is a Mother Trilogy for DS since Earthbound won't be on the VC and Mother was never released here (although a full localization was made which means some of the work is done already).

DS Mother 3 would be amazing. A new Seiken Densetsu title would be nice, I'd be very happy if it was at least one of these two franchise.

How technical is your game?

That would be a dream come true.

Why would a Japanese team be involved in bringing Mother 3 to the west? you shouldn't expect that, really not.

It will most likely be a Mana game, but the track record of Brownie Brown isn't really awesome.

Currently Playing: Skies of Arcadia Legends (GC), Dragon Quest IV (DS)

Last Game beaten: The Rub Rabbits(DS)

Since Mother 2/Earthbound probably won't be on the VC anytime soon, what makes you think that it will be in the trilogy compilation instead?

I know it's probably going to be for DS but I really want it to be for wii.

"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

"The so-called "hardcore" gamer is a marketing brainwashed, innovation shunting, self-righteous idiot who pays videogame makers far too much money than what is delivered."

I'm very curious about what it is.

If Itoi's involved.... looks like I need to fire up the old importing channels again.

I would have expected a brownie brown announcement for Nintendo's Fall Conference, announcing now may mean a launch in the not too distant future. Of course it could also not mean that at all :P
