Forums - Gaming - List of New IP's this Generation

I have made a list of new IP's made this Generation by the corresponding companies. If it isn't made by them it isn't added. I selected these as they are the biggest ones.

Disclaimer- This may not be a complete list of new IP’s. I have taken out ones that were made exclusively for PC as well as games based on movies and card games and T.V. shows.

Got rid of Genji

Condemned was made by Sega and i don't have them up there. I only did a few of the Major companies. I may add the other later.

Well you can help me out. But they have to be owned by MS or published at least.

Bioshock and Borderlands from 2K, Dragon Age from EA. There's probably a whole lot more in the PSN/XBLA department as well.

themanwithnoname's law: As an America's sales or NPD thread grows longer, the probabilty of the comment "America = World" [sarcasticly] being made approaches 1.

Warhawk's not new. You can even download the ps1 version from the store

I don't have 2K up there. I added Dragon Age. As long as the PSN/XBLA are published by MS and Sony and they own them.

got rid of warhawk

Interesting thread. For the 360, you should add Castle Crashers, Mew, and Splosion Man for XBLA.

I also think you should add Nintendo since they are on fire this generation. IF you do add them, I'd put in Endless Ocean, Nintendogs, Professor Layton, Brain Training, Zack & Wiki, de Blob, and the "Wii" series.

Sony is also missing the PSP franchises (Patapon, LocoRoco).

I also think Capcom should have a listing in the OP because I think they own Zack & Wiki, Professor Layton, Dark Void, and a few other ones that I can't think of atm.

Professor Layton is made be Level 5, and published by Nintendo (outside of Japan). I highly doubt Capcom owns it. de Blob was also around before this generation as a PC game.

Also missing Big Brain Academy, The Conduit, Carnival Games, Game Party, Deca Sports, Rock Band, MadWorld, Rock Band, Bayonetta, EA Sports Active, and more that I am too lazy to find. I left off a lot of the fitness games, or mini-game collections that will likely never see a sequel.
