Playstation 3 Slim

A few hours ago a swedish online store posted the Playstation 3 Slim on their website opening up the possibility to monitor the progress of the product on their site. A bad translation of the text from the website, says;

"After many rumors it now seems as if there really is coming a smaller version of the Playstation 3 this fall. So make sure you monitor this product so you wont be left out when we start taking orders! More information will come as soon as we get more confirmation about the new Playstation 3 Slim."

Funny choice in words if they just posted this to stay one step ahead, just in case it goes official some time later on. "After many rumors[..]really is coming" - "as soon as we get more confirmation".

I've been very sceptical of all these "confirmations" earlier, but this convinced me that we'll see the PS3 Slim on Tuesday (unless there's any more of these venues due this fall that i dont know about).

To be fair, they're not saying they're waiting for confirmation that its coming out but rather confirmation of technical aspects of the machine itself (price, freight weight, bundles etc).
Of course I realize that you and I both believe this is legit, just wanted to help clear up the somewhat ambiguous translation!

Until Sony says this is true, none of this matters.

I like the PS3 slim design alot

What if i don't want a ps3 slim?
I prefer the current ps3, will they price drop that?

Yeah, exactly. The way they say it is more or less that its confirmed they will be selling the Slim, just that they are waiting on price and so on.
