Masterchief's true face

Ype, it'd be like showing gordon in a a cinematic. A very bad idea.

The whole point of master chief is that players are suppose to project themselves onto the character. Thats why he has few lines and they don't show his face.

Showing his face would go against everything the character stands for.

Besides he'd be a pasty freak.

I don't think it really matters... his identity has never really been that important to begin with. If they would have showed his face or not... it wouldn't have affected anything now would it. Keeping him faceless just simply keeps up the appeal that he is superhuman.

You can actually see a very young Master Chief in this Halo 3 clip. This is a flashback to his youth. So yes you have seen the chiefs face. All be it what it looked like as a child.

Yeah, it really doesn't make it clear that either of those kids would be him.

I'm tired of all these games with masked heros. Show their damn faces for once.

I don't think it's him. They describe him as a kid in the halo: the fall of reach book and that doesn't really look like his description. You'll know what I mean if you read it.
