Either way, the internet will explode.

A third party surprise is very palusible. I guess a new RE game.
My themeforest portfolio:
I think that, if F-Zero is to appear this generation at all, it has to do so here. The fall Conference of 2010 will only be a year or so out from their next console (or at least their next handheld), so it'll change their focus significantly.
In America, i'd look for talk about which titles are imminently being localized, like Sin & Punishment 2 and Endless Ocean 2, and then on Line Attack Heroes, Span Smasher, and Monado, if they are bound to be localized or not. In Japan, something solid on Dynamic Slash and Cosmic Walker (finally).
They could drop a name for Zelda, but that'll be about it. Or they could just spend the extra time hyping Spirit Tracks like they should.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
Wait wa-wa-wait.
1) What were talking here is the same conference as last year? Where they showed Punch Out, Sin and Punishment and a lot of games?
2) Why would they show new games? From last year´s list, they released only one game, and it was Punch Out.
Dynamic Slash
Cosmic Walker
Punch Out
Sin and Punishment 2
Span Smasher
Line Attack Heroes
Everything from last year. Until now, only punch out released.
3) Whats the date of the conference?

F-Zero or Star Fox for Wii please. This seems to be the conference where Nintendo would roll out that kind of a franchise.
I think you'll see more of Dynamic Slash, Cosmic Walker, etc. at this event also.
They usually have one 3rd party announcement at the October event so I'll throw in a Dragon Quest VII Remake for Wii announcement.
| Soriku said: Why would you guys expect a Retro (Western devs) game at a Japanese event? Something like that would be at E3. I'm thinking info on all titles they are releasing (except Zelda), some third party games like Tales of Graces and Sengoku Basara 3 and also new smaller ones, and maybe another third party surprise. |
It's an American event too. Last year they showed off The Conduit there. Equally, Punch-Out!! was by a western dev this time.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
A new Donkey Kong platformer

ANDY MURRAY:- GRAND SLAM WINNER!
In my opinion the N64 was not just the best console of the 5th gen but, to this day the best console ever created!
So nothing groud breaking will come from the fall conference in peoples minds then?
@peachbuggy: A new Donkey Kong platformer may come from EAD Tokyo after Galaxy 2
Also I have a feeling EAD1 are working on 3 titles: Wii Fit Plus, Pikmin 3 and something else. Just putting it out there, doesn't mean I expect an announcement or anything..
| the_bloodwalker said: In the last conferences, Sonic in Brawl was announced as well as Monster Hunter 3. There has been a few surprises, but I do not think that Zelda will be present in any form. The focus might be on software for the vitality sensor and maybe a third party surprise |
That was two conferences ago, where they also unveiled Wiiware software for the first time. Last conference they announced Punch-Out, as well as Dynamic Slash, Cosmic Walker, Mario & Luigi 3, etc. And Samurai Warriors 3.
I'm surprised at the amount of people doubting the Fall Conference (besides the usual suspects), it's usually more reliable than E3 because it's Nintendo's own 'show' and they're calling the shots. There has always been a display of new software (1st and 3rd party) for DS and Wii, and starting with Monster Hunter 3, there has traditionally been the announcement of a major 3rd party exclusive. This year may be Sengoku Basara 3, but that was already announced by Capcom and the platform leaked by Nikkei so it may be too soon for that (versus Samurai Warriors 3 which was suddenly and unexpectedly announced at the conference). Going by the trend of developers I'm leaning on an announcement from Square Enix. They have no major Wii games announced after Crystal Bearers.
