I doubt it. Capcom released two monster hunter freedoms on the PSP and those games sold over a million units in Japan alone. That's a pretty big fanbase there and most monster hunter fans will own PSPs. Many of these will be unwilling to purchase a DS, and whether there is enough gain from the larger userbase of the DS to offset the loss of many dedicated fans is yet to be seen.
But I don't see Monster Hunter Freedom moving to DS

wow, then I'm impressed. Thanks for the confirmation Donwii.

You can find me on facebook as Markus Van Rijn, if you friend me just mention you're from VGchartz and who you are here.

The most imrpessive thing in the video was the draw distance. I remember a couple of angry fanboys complaining about the areas not getting any larger...but after seeing that, I don't see how they wouldn't increase in size.

This is Japan we're talking about, everyone has a DS.

Despite the angry fanboy complaints this is a huge improvement over the PS2 game's graphics and draw distance. Yes, those two areas could have been improved more on the PS3, but they have been improved enough for me. Now to see what they do with the control scheme....

Consider that both Monster Hunter and its sequel sold millions on PSP (Actually, the only 2 million sellers on PSP)
I see no reason why CAPCOM will give up on PSP
And i doubt whether NDS is powerful enough to handle such 3D graphics
Look at the new Final Fantasy game on both handhelds, the FF Crisis Core on PSP contains jaw-dropping graphics, while FF Crystal Chronicles on NDS is in cartoon-like style.
