I am sure many of you have downloaded FFVII from PSN already and checked it out on the PSP. Some of you might think it looks nice but I can't help but think they look horrible.

I have been an active part of the PSP homebrew scene since 2005 and when we first got around to making EBOOTS we would customize the PS1 titles.

Where are the backgrounds? I notice the PIC0 file (the box in the lower right with the text) and the icon but where is the icon video and music?

I have a slighty different Xenogears on my PSP than the one here. Mine has a box similar to the one on the official FFVII EBOOT but a made it a little more transparent that way I can view the background I added to it.

I think they could have made them look nicer.

I actually use the stuff I made for it to be honest along with his custom .pmf video and music track.

Not only that, but WTF is up with Sony's choice of downloadable games? We get a few good ones like Metal Gear Solid and Crash Bandicoot, but there are some serious turds like Spec Ops and 2 Xtreme. These games were crap when they came out! Why are they being re-released now?

I agree. I know in Japan they already have titles like Xenogears but here in the US they give us the cream of the crap.

FFVII should at least look something like this along with the PIC0.png file that contains the description.
