Forums - Gaming - Which Game that was pushed back to Q1 2010 do you expect to be pushed again

I was just thinking of all the games that are "Suppose" to come out in the first/Second quarter of 2010 and I can't help but think that its Packed. Way to packed and for sure something is going to get a massive push-back. But which title.

Sony
White Knight Chronicles
MAG
God Of War III
Heavy Rain
Quantum Theory
The Last Guardian
DC Universe Online
The Agency
Last Rebellion
MLB The Show: 2010

Microsoft
Alan Wake
Mass Effect 2
Splinter Cell: Conviction
Blue Dragon 2

Nintendo
Metroid: Other M
Arc Rise Fantasia
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers

Multi-Platform
Final Fantasy XIII
Bioshock 2
Army of Two: 40th Day

In my eyes I think that everything I bolded will be delayed to either Q3 2010 or Q4 2010 What about You?

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

I agree that the Sony titles you've highlighted will be pushed back further.

As for the Nintendo titles, Metroid was announced as a 2010 title and hasn't been delayed yet. Or do you mean that with it being a Q1 release, it could get delayed?
If that's the case, then I think it will be a Q1 title in North America, but a Q2 release for the PAL regions.

I think Alan Wake has a chance of being pushed to Q2, and that FFXIII may be delayed.

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

Red Steel 2 was pushed back to Q1 2010 as well for Wii and I'm hearing different things about RE: Darkside Chronicles too.. May be a Q1 release..

Some of those games were never pushed back...

Some of those games aren't even confirmed for early next year...

Metroid: Other M in Q1? I doubt that very much.. Nintendo are releasing Endless Ocean 2 and Sin and Punishment 2 then and will just have released New Super Mario Bros. Wii. Q2 at the earliest for Metroid and Galaxy 2.

Also at the OP, since when was FFCC: The Crystal Bearers pushed back!?

God Of War III (Q3)
The Last Guardian (Q4)
DC Universe Online (Q2)
The Agency (Q3)
Alan Wake (Q2)

You missed alot of games out too, release dates are iffy but I'd expect all of these are penciled in for first half 2010:

Modnation Racers
Dark Void
Lost Planet 2
Dante's Inferno
Battlefield: Bad Company 2
Mafia 2
Red Dead Redemption
Max Payne 3
Bayonetta
Singularity
Red Steel 2

I'm sure I forgot some too lol.

That list is pretty heavy for the early calender months but combined with yours means there is no doubt going to be more delays. Blue Dragon 2 and The Last Guardian definitely won't be out first half 2010, I can see The Agency and DC online being second half too.

Singularity will be kept away from Bioshock 2 so that could end up being released around August I reckon. Max Payne 3 will probably end up as a Christmas title too.
