I'm not talking sales, dood. I'm talking games. Besides, how can you assume it has kicked the PS2 already? you know for fact that it's lower than the PS2 in sales.

Not in the most Japan-centric market there is, it isn't.
And the DS is already the go-to platform for Japan-centric games. Has been for a while.
I cannot see why it is so facinating that an old machine can have a new game that sells well. Sure, it's impressive, but I'd rather be amazed by the fact that its total software sales are high, not the sales by a new release.
Honestly, I find the fact that 4 and 5 year old games can still outsell all the new releases, save ~ 10, for the course of a year far more impressive. And I think that these games will still keep up a good top 20 status when they're 6, or possibly even 7, years old.
