I plan on getting this and Swords and Soldiers, sometime soon.

Is Nyx as good as, worse or better than Lost Winds for those who've played both? Or is it likely than having enjoyed Lost Winds, I'll enjoy NyxQuest?

i think nyxquest destroys lost winds, the controls are much better

Somehow I enjoyed lost winds more than nyx quest, maybe because it came out first.

But I also only played the first couple of levels of nyx. Maybe it gets much better later on.

I also wasn't blown away by the game and kinda expected to be overwhelmed by it after reading tons of positive reviews with 9s and 10s out of 10.

Still its definitely a good game worth getting, but more like a 7 or 8.
