Forums - Sony - Whats this about cryteck PS3 still not pushed..... du c3ll

Crytek UK's managing director Karl Hilton says no one has pushed the PS3 as far as it can go just yet.

Crytek UK was formerly known as Free Radical, developer of PS3 exclusive Haze, which received a luke-warm reception from critics before the studio was placed into administration and later bought out by Crytek.
"Haze had a lot of development issues which meant it wasn't the game it should have been. A lot of them were technical issues; the PS3 is a powerful machine but a difficult one to get the best out of," said Hilton.

"I don't think we've seen the best out of the PS3 at all, and I definitely think one of the best things about Crytek and the CryEngine is that we're now in the best position to get the most out of the hardware.

"We know the PS3 can do amazing things, and no one has pushed it as far as it can go, but I think the CryEngine gives us a great head start on it," he toldDevelop.

Does this mean they can make a good game for it this time?

Will be interesting to see their next project... May be Haze remake on CryEngine 3 :)

Also waiting for Crysis 2.

Oh well good for Crytek to push the ps3 to the limit.

PLEASE make Time Splitters4, PS3 exclsuiive as well. 2 of my friends have wiis and they said they will buy PS3's if time splitters 4 comes out for it only.

That would be the best move for Crytek, because Time Splitters is already a somewhat popular franchise.

@ Leo, they made no implied comparison with any other system.

Tease.

LOL, just PR guys.
